Prof. Sonya Surabhi Gupta teaches in the Centre for European and Latin American Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia. She has a Ph.D. in Spanish from Jawaharlal Nehru University. New Delhi and a vast teaching experience in prestigious academic institutions like the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad, The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and University of Delhi. Prof. Gupta has lectured in several universities abroad and her publications include the translation into Hindi, Ekant ke Sau Varsh, of Nobel Prize winning novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez's famous novel Cien años de Soledad/One Hundred years of Solitude. She also has several research papers to her credit in the field of Methodology of Foreign Language Teaching.
Nabiel Ansari is currently Assistant Professor in University of Delhi. He completed his M.A. in Spanish from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He was awarded an Erasmus Mundus scholarship to pursue Master MULTIELE which he completed in 2012 from the University of Deusto, Spain. He also studied in University of Barcelona and Freie University, Berlin. He has conducted workshops on teaching of Spanish as a foreign language in various universities across India and is enrolled in a Ph.D. programme in Spanish in the Jawaharlal Nehru University
